Listening to others
Nobody’s perfect. Nobody knows everything. People tend to think so but we all make mistakes and do incorrect things. We learn and grow. They are all part of living. To live life, we need to listen to others. Doing as such helps you see new opportunities, solve problems and deal with issues. By learning more about and from others, you will have greater clarity and foresight in all aspects of life. Not only listening to others improve your relationship with them, you will be better in every way whether it be professional, personal or social.
Getting your move on
Couch potatoes don’t win in life. They gain weight and become lazy. They end up hating themselves and being depressed. Getting your move on through dancing, walking, exercising and at whatever intensity you can move will never be a waste of time. Moving your body releases endorphins and relieves stress and tensions. Certain activities like dancing and acting give you a medium to express yourself and strengthen the connection between your mind and body.
My experience
I was recently diagnosed with arthritis. I always knew something was wrong ever since I was not able to remove my wedding ring a few years ago. My fingers were constantly swollen to a point that my wedding ring did not budge and I started getting chilblains in winter. My lovely wife always knew and told me to go see the doctor but I didn’t listen. I heard her, but didn’t listen. It wasn’t until the third time she brought it up that I decided to go see our GP. I’m due to go see a specialist but taking anti-inflammatory medicine in the meantime is helping me manage the pain and discomfort.
